All children in Year 2 to Year 6 have access to SEESAW which your teachers are providing lots of work for you through. Each child will have received a QR code and practised using Seesaw within school. Teachers will post activities to their seesaw page if your child is self- isolating and needs access to remote learning.
If your child engages with reading or other home learning activities feel free to add to their seesaw page. For our Year 1 children we will continue to use Tapestry. Please look out for videos and messages to support your activities at home. Children in Reception will have activities set through our school website.
The activities set will match the lessons being taught within school. All lessons will be well planned and follow a set sequence . We aim for all pupils to continue to receive a broad and balanced curriculum, with is meaningful, ambitious with lots of new learning. Completion of tasks, presentation of work and the accuracy of learning will be key. Teachers will be responding to these three elements
Parents may contact their class teacher though the class email address with any questions or concerns. Follow your year group link for timetables, email addresses and further guidance. We will communicate regularly with parents to ensure our remote learning is easily accessible. We have provided a number of pupils with IT equipment , data packages alongside a range of additional resources. Please let us know if you require further support or IT equipment.
While the children are leaning from home, the school is available to provide pastoral support for our families. If your class teacher is unable to answer you questions or you have a family issue you wish to discuss with our pastoral support you can contact the team by text or school office email. Hopefully, we will be able to signpost you to relevant support.
