Sports for School - Isabel Haigh (GB Gymnast Visit)

On Wednesday 23rd June, all of the children at Milton Park participated in a sponsored fitness circuit led by Isabel Haigh (GB Gymnast) and a sportivator. It was so lovely to see the children supporting and cheering each other.

The fitness circuits were followed by an assembly where Isabel spoke about her experiences of Gymnastics and the events she has attended. She even showed us her bronze medal she won at the 2017 Word Championships! The children then asked Isabel lots of questions about her career and Isabel made it very clear that she was able to have the career she has had through persevering. Persevering is very similar to one of our school values which is resilience and is something all of our children have shown this year.
