When is PE?

Our PE day is a Thursday afternoon and we ask that children come into school in their PE kits. We expect children to wear a plain white t-shirt and black shorts (or black jogging bottoms in the autumn and winter months) together with appropriate footwear (black daps in the spring and summer months and trainers in the autumn and winter). We advise children wear their school jumpers on PE days as they will be learning outside.

How many times do I need to read a week? 

In Year 5, the expectation is that you should reads at home every weekday. This does not always have to be to an adult and can be completed independently but we do ask that on at least three occasions the children read to an adult.
